Terms of Service
These terms cover Mailsumo and its four tools (Email Extractor, Email Finder, Email Tracker and Email Verifier), whether you use them through the dashboard, the browser extensions or the API. Using any of them means you accept them.
Your account
You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in details and API tokens to yourself; anything done with them counts as done by you. One account is for one person or one organisation. Sharing a subscription across a team means buying a seat per person.
Plans, credits and payment
- Extractor and Tracker Premium are unlimited: no per-month caps on extractions or tracked emails, subject to the fair use below.
- Finder and Verifier are sold as a monthly allowance of credits. One finder credit is spent per address returned, and searches that find nothing are free. One verifier credit is spent per billable verification; results we cannot determine are not charged. Verifications the Finder performs on its own results never touch your verifier credits.
- Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period. They do not roll over and are not refundable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Refunds
If Mailsumo does not do what this site says it does, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it. Beyond that we refund at our discretion, and in practice, if something is broken on our side, you get your money back.
Acceptable use
You may not use Mailsumo to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, or build lists for someone else to do so.
- Contact people without a lawful basis, or ignore unsubscribe and erasure requests. You are the controller of the addresses you collect; the obligations are yours.
- Collect addresses that are not publicly displayed, or circumvent a site's access controls, paywalls or rate limits.
- Harass, impersonate, defraud or profile individuals.
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute Mailsumo's results as a competing data product, or scrape our API beyond your plan's limits.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will if we receive credible spam complaints about it.
Fair use
"Unlimited" means we do not meter you, not that there is no ceiling. If an account's usage is orders of magnitude beyond normal individual use, or destabilises the service for others, we will get in touch and agree on limits before taking any action.
Third-party services
Mailsumo works inside Gmail, LinkedIn, Google Chrome and other services we do not control. Their terms apply to your use of them, and they can change in ways that break a feature. Verification is performed by Bouncebuster on our behalf.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Mailsumo up but do not promise uninterrupted service, and results, including verification verdicts and confidence scores, are provided as-is. Deliverability depends on factors outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard, which deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We can terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with a pro-rata refund of the unused part of the current period unless the breach involved spam or fraud.
Changes
We will email you at least 30 days before any change that materially reduces what you get or raises your price. Continuing to use Mailsumo after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mailsumo is established, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
