Does the recipient know I'm tracking?
Email Tracker works like most email tracking tools: it uses an invisible pixel. Free-plan emails include a small “Sent with Mailsumo” signature, which you can remove per email or by upgrading.
Why do some tools show false opens?
Gmail, Apple Mail, and corporate scanners automatically load images before a human reads the email. Email Tracker classifies these events and only counts genuine opens, so you don't get phantom reads.
Will my own opens be counted?
No. A browser-level rule blocks your own tracking pixel, so viewing your Sent mail never registers as an open.
What data do you store?
We store your subject lines, recipients, and open/click events to power your reports. We never store the body of your emails, and recipient IP addresses are anonymized.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Premium is self-serve through the Stripe customer portal. Cancel in a couple of clicks, with no emails and no retention hoops.
